Worth upgrading FX8350 from 955BE?

I know this has been asked before. But I wanted to give you my mobo model and see what you think. I purchased this a couple years back figuring I would upgrade so it's the 890FX that is SUPPOSE to be AM3+ ready. It's an ASRock 890 FX Deluxe 5. It's running a 955BE OC at 3.8 with aftermarket cooler. I was just wondering if the FX8350 would be an upgrade. I game mostly but also do video encoding. And I would wait for deals or sales.

Yes, I upgraded my Phenom II x4 965 be to an FX 8350 and I have great performance boosts in games and other activities. The 8 cores are amazing for productivity and such. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I was also told that the card I have would be the better upgrade for gaming. And I guess i could say I do more of that than the video work.

(I also made an accidental post of this same question because I didn't think it posted.)
