I recently bought MSI 760 GM P23 (FX) Motherboard and I put my old Athlon II x3 450 processor. I realized that CPU fan isn't speeding up when CPU temperature rises. I run Prime 95 and CPU temperature raised as high as 80 degrees celzius, but fan speed stayed the same (3500 RPM). On my old motherboard fan speeded up above 6000 RPM when it was necessary. I tried to set the CPU target temperature in BIOS to lowest possible (40 degrees) and nothing. The question is, does my motherboard fan controler malfunction or the motherboard itself is simply that bad? What else could I try to do or do I simply try to return it? Thanks
