Case Fan Cable doesn't fit Motherboard Connectors.

My Rear/Front and Side Fan Cables have this Molex connector(Should be) but my MOBO (Asrock D75M-DGS) fan connectors have the smaller pins that is too small/doesn't fit the Case Fan cables.

My PSU - Corsair CX500M has this Peripheral Cable that matches the Case Fan Cable. Is it okay if I use this to power the case fan? Will the PSU send too much power and destroy the Fan?

Do let me know if you need more info. Thanks!

Solution
The fans will work fine off the PSU connectors - they will just run at 100% all the time. The alternatives are to find a molex to 3-pin or molex to 4-pin adapter (usually $5-$10 each) to utilize the mobo (the advantage of this setup, the mobo can control the speed of the fans, slowing them down when the computer is running cool).

Thanks for the reply! It was helpful :)

And yea the MOBO allows Fan Control :( But only for the Rear Fan though. So I guess it doesn't matter? Since there is no 'Fan Control' feature for the Front fan? The noise level would be around the same?
