So i got a 126 gb SSD , Samsung EVO 840
Got a 1tb HDD from WD Black series adn i am going to get another 1tb HDD once i need more space
My question is, i am gettting win8.1 64bit, thats about 20gb, so that leaves about 100gb of free space, i was just wondering what would you guys reccomend? I am a gamer and i love BF4 so i was advised to get some SSD space for BF4 and install it there for speeds, but with those 100gb what would u install in them? And what kind of space would you leave out for OS updates?

You can install games to it, that's fine. I would definitely load all of my system files and other programs to it though. The SSD will really only help load times in games, won't really effect performance.

No, the SSD doesn't improve performance in games, it would just improve load times, like when loading a saved game, changing maps, etc. There may be an absolute minimal increase because of response time for RAM, but you won't notice it ingame. I keep all my games on my HDD, but have Photoshop, Chrome, etc on the SSD. The regular programs like that really benefit from the SSD, a lot more than games do.

126GB wont leave you much room but probably enough.. The OS will take around 20 give or take you are right on that but also it will use some for system restore which is nice to have in some cases. If your comp sleeps it may also need some for that as well depending how much RAM you have. So you are looking at closer to 35-40GB taken by the system.
Also my 128GB drive gives about 119GB after NTFS format so that leaves you about 79GB for your game and updates and other programs. Probably not enough but you could make it work. Once you have 10GB of free space i would stop putting anything on it and use your 1TB drives.

Also when you are gaming load times are important if you are impatient, so you probably would want to have your games on the ssd assuming there is room.
