purchased a new corsair cx500 power supply to upgrade my computer. When I installed it I got nothing. When I put in the old /antec 350 att it fired right up. This is my 3rd replacement of the cx500 is it possible that all are bad or is it not compatible with my new amd3+ ECS A960M-M3

It shouldn't be a compatibility issue, although I suspect the FSP-built Antec is higher quality than the CWT-built Corsair, regardless of their labels. Still, the Corsair ought to work. Make sure it's not a connector-seating issue, and that you haven't accidentally switched the CPU power cable with a PCIe power cable. The latter will have six or six+two pins, and the former will be four, eight, or more likely four+four pins (eight total likely on each).
