Hey guys, I've been having problems with my computer recently when i try watching videos online or generally gaming. My computer stutters when doing any of these tasks in some cases causing a bsod of death. I'm ok with computers but i've never experienced any problems like this before until installing my gtx 760 i suspect it maybe the card been faulty or my psu but i think it has enough watts in order to run it. Anyway you guys may know better than me, thanks for your help in advance !

gpu temps average around 45 c whilst gaming and my cpu around 60. i had a 460 gtx in so it was quite a large leap up.

Well, it's possible that the PSU isn't powerful enough. The PSU has plenty of amps, but it's divided into 4 +12v rails... It could be that the 760 is just trying to draw too much power.

Have you made sure to wipe your old drivers and reinstall the latest from NVIDIA's website?

Yes, i've installed the latest drivers for my graphics card and it has still persisted it got a little better recently but started declining again. How would i go about determining if my psu is strong enough?

My CPU is fairly good though 3.2ghz quad core i7 i don't think it is my cpu usage never climbs high from what i've noticed after looking at it occassionally whilst gaming

I'm thinking the same, i ran a 660 gtx no problem but i had to rma it due to it dieing so i switched back to my 460 gtx for a month or so which was fine by which time they had no 660's so gave me a 760 gtx instead. i was using the card literally a week ago and it was fine although i will try it again to see the results. The bsod i get occassionally is nvlddmkm.sys as well.

I'm assuming by a clean install you mean a complete wipe of my system if so no i haven't. i just updated the drivers to the latest ones upon inserting my new graphics card.

I'm currently doing it atm, although a day ago when going to open my nvidia experience it keeps saying it's encountered an error and must close. I also just tried to play two games of league of legends and within 30 seconds of starting got an blue screen.

Update: reinstalled drivers completely for graphics card, went to view a video and upon starting it started stuttering again.
Installed old graphics card no stutter at all.
