I'm in the process of sending my 7950 for an RMA. So far, I've received the info needed to send the package, but the company's shipping policy dictates that I must send the GPU in its original packaging. I no longer have this packaging. I've sent Gigabyte an email on whether this packaging is required, but it's been 2 days and I've yet to hear from them.

Does anyone have any experience regarding this issue? Can I send the card back in a standard box?

Thanks

Wait until you get an answer from Gigabyte (which might be never their customer service has gone way down in the last couple years). As part of the warranty they are allowed to reject the claim if you don't have the original packaging (many people don't keep it and they have less warranty claims to pay out)
