Hey guys. I'm novice in this area. I just wanted to hear your suggestions on what can make this PC Build cheaper, and still maintain the performance. Check it out.

More about bang buck
  1. get a 650w psu from seasonic which will save you almost 100$??
  2. What will you be using this for?

Is it for gaming? If so, drop back to an i5, cut the RAM back to 8GB, and the PSU to 650W from a more reputable company such as Seasonic, XFX, or Antec. Unless you intend particularly high overclocking (which shouldn't be necessary), a Xigmatek Gaia for half the price will be a sufficient cooler for you.
  4. From the money you save elsewhere (CPU/cooler/PSU), get a better HDD.
  5. Well, he's already got a SSD for the system drive, so a green data drive should be ok.

Yeah, maybe. It just seems a shame - a $2500 PC married with a 5400 WD Green.
  7. True, although I'm running a pair of LP (/green) drives in RAID1 for data on Omega...
