Upgrade to FX8350 from 955BE?

I see the question all time but wanted to know with my current hardware, if it's much of a gain. My 955 is OC to 3.8. I have an ASRock 890FX Deluxe 5 mobo, 8 gb ram, HD5770 GPU. If it's not much of an upgrade, it woudl probably be best to put that money into a new GPU.

I do mostly gaming and video encoding.

Upgrading your graphics card will allow higher detail settings. Upgrading the CPU will maybe allow higher frame rates at the same settings. You should be able to get an AMD Radeon R9 270 or Nvidia GTX 660 for the same price as this CPU. These cards are twice as fast as your current graphics card.

Hmm. Thanks for the input. And my mistake, but I didn't think this question originally posted, so this is the 2nd time in about an hour that I posted this question...oops
