Hi guys. I have just installed an nvidia gtx 760 and its great... until I play games. As soon as the gpu is under load sound cuts out and resolution drops from 1920x1080 to a lower res. Any suggestions guys?! Im using an hdtv with hdmi. Its a clean install of windows 8.1 and graphics drivers are the latest from the website. My mobo bios are also the most recent. Its a new build - its ALL new! Help!

■ After a conversation with an evga tech support guy I found out that nvidia audio drivers dont work with Samsung smart tvs and that the tv itself needs to be set up to receive audio from a pc. So here goes. Connect a double ended audio jack (dunno what its technical name is) from the speaker line out to the tv's dvi audio in. This alone won't work. Select hdmi/dvi in the tvs source menu/tools/change name. Then select pc dvi from the drop down menu. Contrary to what this suggests, more than the name is changed. It changes the whole configurationof the tv. Next enter sound settings and change default audio device to speaker rather than nvidia hd audio device. Obviously this is more a work around than a fix so if anyone knows of drivers that allow hdmi audio to work through a samsung smart tv then please let me know!
