I'm upgrading my GPU and want to get EVGA GeForce GTX 760, but when I look at the EVGA website there are several versions/prices. What is more important for games like COD Ghosts...Base Clock or VRAM?
The 2 gig versions are about $60 cheaper give or take. I don't want to buy the 2G version if I need the 4G. If the base clock is more important I'll go with the 2G version.

Only buy a 4gb version if you plan to SLI them at resolutions greater than 1080p. Otherwise for you the most important thing is clock speed and making sure it has their ACX cooler(dual fan) and not a reference design(blower style). The 760 gpu is not powerful enough by itself to max out its 2gb vram so you won't see a performance difference if you use a single gpu from the 2gb to 4gb.

The 4GB version is going to be better for higher resolutions. If you're gaming at 1080p the 2GB version is plenty to run current games on max.

I don't plan on SLI, so the 2G version would be suitable performance?

Yes, that will be all you will need. Look for highest base clock that you can afford and make sure it is an ACX cooler.

What resolution do you game at? That'll help us better help you. If at 1080p, a 760 2GB should be enough. A single 760 doesn't have enough raw power to fully utilize 4GB. Only get the 4GB if you're planning on sli in the future as it will be a more viable to have sli 760 4GB. AS mf Red stated, current games at 1080p don't require more than 2GB. Also at 1080p, base clock will be more important than vram.

My monitor max is 1050p, so I won't be maxing or anything just need good solid performance.

a 760 will get high graphics settings at 1080p, anything under it will max out the majority of games.
