like the title says guys... the card will not overclock even +5mhz without crashing. its connected with two 8pins to a 1000w seasonic that ive never had problems with before. it does the same thing on the secondary bios too, wth? I bought this thing to overclock not sit at stock clocks! please help!

Solution
Maybe something is wrong with your card, I suggest you call EVGA and go through the troubleshooting steps and if they can't help you give it back to the store or rma it. If you RMA the card ask EVGA to send you one with a higher ASIC that overclocks.

Try getting rid of your processor overclock, 4.8 is very high maybe your processor is not stable and not pushing your gpu.

Can you Check your ASIC score with GPUZ? Just right click on the top left hand corner and read asic.

If your ASIC is low it's an indication that your gpu might not overclock very well.

I suggest changing your cpu speed to stock and try again.

Did you increase the Temperature Target and power target?

asic says 67%. Only thing I changed was power target and temp target to 110% and 95c. I can understand the card not overclocking well and im perfectly happy with it not being as good as some others out there, but ZERO overclock? it just makes no sense. I had a gtx 680 at 1240/6800 on air no problem before this.

Your cards ASIC score is not very high which usually means your cards will not overclock well with a standard bios on Air.

The only way to get a better overclock is to get another bios that allows you to increase the voltage more than the stock bios.

You might have to water cool the card to get a good overclock - what is your boost speed in games?

@ that boost clock you should get excellent performance.

I have a Reference Asus 780 ti and my boost speed is about the same as yours and when I overclock the performance is great!

I am even satisfied with stock clocks, I only overclock when I play games like Metro LL, Tomb raider and other demanding titles.

When My core is at 1150 my voltage is around 1.137.

If you change your bios and pump lots of voltage into your cards i wouldn't be surprised if you get a boost of 1300 mhz.
I'm limited to a stupid 106% power target which I exceed because i'm playing demanding games at 1440p.

If I had a dual bios like you I would try some other bios's that have a higher power limit...

ok I have skynets bios now, still crashing even with 1.212v. one thing very strange is that even if the gpu is at 100% load, the power % never goes above 50, like its capped or something? on stock bios, power % hits 110-115
