Water Cooling System in need of more coolant.

So I have had this open loop water cooling system for about 1 year and its lost about a 1/4 of its coolant so far. Now I don't want to completely replace all the coolant because it says it can last up to 2-3 years. So can I get away with buying the same coolant and just topping it up?

HI, topping up the water loop is a common task that needs to be done as you have water evaporation etc. I think its important to use the same water coolant solution (if used), and also always remember to use Distilled Water.
