Games can't really take advantage of more than 4Gb of RAM, some 8, while editing programs can for example. Your Processor and GPU is what matters. So it could take just about anything i throw at it? even with 4gb? Yes, the frequency of each stick is important however...anything above 1600 is good but 1866 is usually recommended.
