1st thanks for stopping by. I have great knowledge of computer i have helped lots of friends build rigs in the past and

pick parts and get everything running. Normally it would look as building my own 1st rig might be extremely easy,

the main problem im having is i cant seam to make up my mind in regards to the parts, i find 1 parts then i see another brand and so on very frustrating. im looking for future proof but at the same time didn't want to get the most recent parts on the chart i do have a $1400 budget that being said i have parts price notification set up with pcpartspicker.

so in shorts i narrowed it down as you see below anything with (//) means i have the parts already. (??) means im undecided but have narrowed it down 2 things for sure i haven't made up my mind on the psu, im looking at the 1000w
i will be connecting more parts in the feature. another is im in between the ARCTIC MX-4 Carbon and Arctic Silver 5, i have always used the mx4 for the fear the arctic 5 silver smudging on the cpu, even tho i always put a fine strip vertically right down the middle.

video edit, autocad,Photoshop, adobe elements, cyberlink,After Effects® CC,Media Encoder CC,SpeedGrade® CC ect..

i do game, battlefield 4,assassins creed, borderlands ect... im trying to keep things well rounded

Rookie mistake... VRAM doesn't work like that. It is still 4 gigs. Across multiple monitors, he's gonna need it.

However, I would go for 2x 280x/7970's, or dual 770's (4 gig).
That much screen space would need a LOT of gpu power.

Now, all this is assuming that you are buying more than one monitor. If you're going for a multi monitor, vid. editing build, that can still game on high settings, you're going to run over budget. If not multi-monitored, you're fine, but it seems that to spend $1400 without about $400 on gpu doesn't seem like the best use of money. But it's not my build.

I know a lot of people like ardtic silver 5, but truth is there's better out there now. Also it is semi-conductive. The 4770k is a good choice, it will last a while considering there's still lots of applications and programs that don't take full advantage of it. Don't personally know anything about the mobo, but from what I've seen it's very good. For most people 8GB RAM is plenty, though 16GB will help with the future proofing, but you can always add 2 x 4GB on later. 8GB (2 x 4gb) of graphics memory will be overkill for 2 monitors. You could get a gtx 780 for the price of 2 270xs, unless you prefer AMD over Nvidia. Usually 1 very good card is better than 2 cards, not necessarily always performance, but less issues. Some games still don't work with sli/ xfire. You could try to save money in other parts of build and go for 780ti or 290x. I don't know what kind of monitor you're looking for, but for gaming I'd recommend the VG248QE (144Hz, 1ms), I got one recently and love it. But it's not the prettiest for non-gaming. Just some of my thoughts, hope it helped.
