is this a high enough PSU to run all this plus a Corsair H80i ?

Solution
The h80i doesn't use much power so that PSU should handle it just fine, I'd recommend a higher quality PSU for overclocking, Corsair's CX line doesn't handle well under stress

Or you could just save some cash and go with a 212 EVO/Xigmatek Gaia

600W is more than fine. I don't know why people like Dom_79 recommend such high wattage PSUs, especially if you plan on getting a good brand such a Corsair. You could run 2 GTX 760s overclocked and your CPU overclocked with a decent 600W PSU as long as there is enough amps on the 12v rail. The amps matter a lot more than the wattage. Also, Corsair PSUs exhaust heat outside the case. It will generate no extra heat IN your case, which means it will not impact the rest of your system's temperatures. PSUs don't even get hot these days. Especially not Corsair PSUs. I wouldn't worry about the heat affecting the lifetime. Your system will be far outdated and obsolete before the PSU dies anyway.

1.Why do you have an 800W PSU?
2. I have a Corsair TX750M and I can feel the warmth radiating from it.

BTW you don't have to take my opinion (which I'm entitled to express) as a personal insult or some kind of attack against you or your opinion. If you feel so strongly about this PSU issue why not start a blog or post a youtube video about it instead of ragging at me in this thread? People deserve better than the crappy free advise and opinions of the people here at Tom's that aren't you.

First of all a 600w +80 bronze PSU is more than fine if you arent going to SLI/crossfire.

The heat coming from PSU today is minimal, nothing that would have the greater impact on the systems temps.

You know, a decent 500W unit would be plenty for that system and gives you some overclocking headroom as well

If your system will be left at stock speeds then even an Antec VP450 is also sufficient to power it (not recommended but just making a point)

It's simply not worth it to get a 750-800W unit unless you're going for SLI and/or running a multiple drive setup

Marshall's motherboard supports SLI so that's why he probably has that 800W unit

The CX600M is enough to power your system, though usually we'd recommend a higher quality unit since the CX line is a bit entry level and uses some substandard capacitors

This XFX 550W unit should get the job done

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1550sxxb9

The rule of thumb is to get an efficient unit with a decent amperage on the +12v rail, the manufacturer recommendation (overstated already) for a system with a GTX 760 is 30A on the +12v rail, and this 550W unit has 44A, more than enough

Though if you're considering future SLI, a decent 650W-750W unit should do (admittedly a CX750M should also cost close to that XFX 550W unit after MIR)

Who said I was attacking you? I was simply disagreeing with you. Don't get so butthurt about it, I had no rude intention :p Just simply stating my opinion and reasons on the question, just as you were. Relax.

Edit: Also, I have a 800W PSU for 3 reasons: As you can see I also have a gtx 680 Lightning at 1400MHz. That requires a lot of power. I have to use the hacked BIOS and the artmoney softmod in order to add up to +600mv instead of the standard +12mv. That's A LOT of power. I plan on SLi in the future as well, so there you have it. It's also a gold rated power supply. It runs extremely quiet and even with the 140MM fan spinning at about 700RPM, I still feet the tiniest, yet cool breeze exhausting out the back of my case. 3rd reason is because the Rosewill Lightning is a really awesome looking powersupply. It's very flashy and matches the rest of my build, minus the red LEDs which I don't have on anyway. So there you have it.
