Currently I'm using an Asus VE278Q which is 1080p at 27 inches and I need to make an upgrade. I'm mostly looking at 1440p monitors and I've noticed a lot of people saying 1080p on 1440p has some noticeable negative changes such as pixelation. But would there be any difference since the 1440p monitor I'd be using would be 27 inches aswell? One would think there would be little to no changes due to both monitors being the same size. I really only play games and watch blu ray films (which are 1080p).
Plus, any recommendations for 1440p monitors? I've had my eye on one of the Overlord Tempest models, the overclock capability and cheap price is extremely appealing.
Any help would be appreciated.
