New Router still can only use one device

I just got my Galaxy Tab and my tech brother sent me a TPK? (Maybe) router thinking that was my issue. It helped a little but not much.

Background: My husband plays WoW on his Ethernet connected computer. If I wirelessly connect my tablet, phone or laptop his speeds drop to the point he can't play. This is not raiding, just regular game play.

I'm 34wks pregnant with my first, home bound and miserable. I REALLY need to be able to use my devices. Not to mention I'm going over my data every month.

Maybe its not a question of router throughput as much as it is your ISP(internet service provider) giving you cruddy bandwidth. Try http://www.speedtest.net/ to see what you get.

Edit: I only have a standard 100Mb/s(54Mb/s Wireless) router and it handles enough traffic for AT LEAST two devices no problem. If the router is not handling wireless traffic well, try connecting your husbands computer directly to the router via Ethernet connection to see if this improves the performance.
