Building a computer for around 1150$

Wondering if this is a viable gaming setup. Any issues? Thank you in advance.

8gb Ram 1600
Asus m5a97 mobo
1tb HDD
650w power supply
Evga GTX 770 2gb
Windows 7 64 bit

that is a great setup for gaming, will run anything on high settings

many will probably say go for the 8350 but the 6350 will have similar performance and is much cheaper

You went a little low on the CPU. I highly recommend a i5-4570 or a FX-8350 instead. Can I have the PSU's model name ? The wattage of the PSU is not the most important, the quality is very important too.

Did you mean the Corsair CX650 ? If so, I wouldn't recommend it since you have a slight bigger budget. The Seasonic S12 II 620 watts would be better

Yes, the corsair 650w is what I was looking at. I will look into the Seasonic. Is there a way to gauge the quality of a PSU? Thank you for your reply btw

better to go with seasonic.
Look for a 80plus bronze or gold certification mark on the psu.
It indicates that the psu is efficient.
80plus bronze would be sufficient.
