Hi i have never built a computer before, and i am looking to build one in the next few days. I am a complete newbie in this area and don't know what is compatible or not.

I have already bought the following:
1. i7 4770k retail cpu
2. Phantom 530
3.LiteOn IHAS124-04 24x SATA Half Height Internal DVDRW Drive - Black
4. 8GB 1600MHz CL9 DDR3 Ballistix Sport Single Memory Module

So these are already what i have and these are what i am about to buy. I just wonder if it is recommended or not. :

1. GIGABYTE g1.sniper z87
2. Corsair 750w CXM 80+ Bronze Certified
3. Sapphire R9 270X OC DUAL-X 2GB GDDR5
4. Noctua NH-D14
5.
Corsair AF120 LED White Quiet Edition High Airflow 120mm Fan Twin Pack

My budget is around £850 and i have already spent £416, so around £434 available.

This is my first time, so i hope i gave enough info! ;d

Edit: Corsair Builder Series CXM 750W Modular 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX/EPS PSU
Thanks for your time

I dont quite understand why the psu isnt compatible. I'm not saying that you are wrong since my knowledge isn't that broad but then i searched up in the forums and they all said that the 80+ bronze works with haswell and stuff... So why doesn't it work for my case? is it because of it being a modular psu or something?

No when i as saying you should go with a gold i meant something differnt. for basics there are three types of qualities for psu's, they are: bronze-gold-platinum. The higher you go from bronze to platinum, the bigger load they can take on there restricted watts.

Also what i mean by your psu is not certified with haswell, i mean that your selected psu will not work with the 4770k (haswell), its like mixing a z87 cpu with a x79 chipset motherboard

Well.. i actually used that website to choose all my components and yes it did say its all compatible but i was just worried whether its 100% correct and thus made this post. If the website is 100% correct then i guess there isn't any problem now!

Well i am kinda using it for gaming, but only for a few games. I am primarily using it for League Of Legends + Streaming other than that just some mmorpgs that i rarely play. I was actually thinking about going for FX8350 because i am going to study games tech in uni but i thought that i would rather go with the i7 :l (Might be foolish of me i dont really know tbh)

It's good that you went with i7 then :). AMD is pure gaming and absolutly nothing else.
