Hello,

I am looking for advice on a low budget build (£500).I have come up with the following low budget build below. Since I have never built a PC before I am not sure if my build is any good. Could you guys take a look and see if I have left anything that is needed out or if all the parts are compatible etc.

The system will be used to play games like arma 3(medium to high settings) and to do some recording for youtube aswell as some video editing.

Intel Core i5 4440 3.10GHz Socket 1150 6MB Cache £129.94

Gigabyte GA-Z87-DS3H Socket 1150 DVI HDMI 7.1 channel Audio ATX Motherboard £68.72

Asus HD 7770 2GB GDDR5 DVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Graphics Card £106.47

Crucial 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz Ballistix Sport Memory Kit CL9 (9-9-9-24) 1.5V £58.08

Toshiba 1TB 3.5 £44.91

Samsung SH-224DB 24X Internal DVD Writer with SATA - OEM £12.99

Casecom KM-6988 Black Mid Tower ATX Case with Full Black Interior/Exterior 120mm Red LED Front Fan £23.98

CIT 480W Dual 12V Rail PSU - 12cm Fan - 20+4pin 3x SATA £18.50

Total=463.59

So is this build fit for purpose as it currently stands? If it is, then I am about 40-50 pounds under budget what would you suggest upgrading with the spare cash?

Thanks in advance.

Jay
