Hello guys i bought my PC 3 years ago and it was working fine until few monthes ago.
back in that time i also had many power shut downs in my house ( i think +- in the same time of when this issue started happening ).
Now to be more specific the pc started restarting itself while playing games, usuely the only way i managed to stop it from doing that was going for small windowed mode which ruins the fun : ) .
I tried the common stuff , program for gpu temps cleaning the PC from dust etc...
still It feels like gpu related problem i guess? but is there a chance those power shut dows ruined up the RAM or PSU in some way that causes this issue?
Thanks from advance!
P.S
My system runs in windows 7 :
AMD phenom x4 955 3.2ghz
ge force gtx 460 1g
transcend ddr 3 / 2g / 1333 x 2
psu seasonic ss-500et 500watt

Solution
It might restart because of overheating.
Try monitor the heat meanwhile gaming, if that is the case, you should clean the PC for dust, reapply thermal paste and such.
the powershutdowns should not have affected anything.
