Red patches on screen

Hello guys

I have a problem with red patches appearing randomly on screen.

They appear on my desktop wallpapers ,

My cpu temps are 40-43 when idle and GPU temps are 30-33 when idle. So no over heating of components.

Would this be a monitor or a gpu problem?

are they really small dots? almost the side of a period . Or are the big squares like 1/4" by 1/4" If its the period size then its pixels on the monitor going in and out. if its the larger of the size then its the videocard show artifacts and is getting ready to die.

Can you post you system specs just to make sure.

I cant really say for sure can you see the link to confirm on that?
My specs

GPU : gtx 660 ti

CPU:intel i5 2400 S
RAM : 8gb
PSU:Cooler master gx 650w bronze

I also just ran a furmark test and no freezes or crashes have occured
