So i wanted to know what is the best value or cheapest card i can get to get at least 130+ or some really high fps on League of Legends at maximum features?

I was thinking of buying the r9 270x but i have never built a pc and have been playing League on Intel HD Graphics family so i dont really know what graphics card could actually give me very good fps in this game at max.

My computer to be built has an i7 4770k cpu as well.

Thanks for your time!

Edit: I have read the benchmarks of league of legends and graphics cards before, but then that was almost 1/2 a year ago and the game has recently become more graphically demanding after the 3.4 patches and thus i didnt think the previous benchmarks would really apply to the game right now.

Uhm, you really don't need something like a 770 to max out league, lol. For example, I currently use a laptop with the gt650m, which runs league at 60-80 fps on max settings. however, this is on 768p. The gt650m can be comparable to a overclocked gtx 640 desktop card.

You asked for 130+ fps with maximum features however, and i would like to say that one of my friends has a gtx 580 that runs on 200+ fps on ultra. The equivalent of a gtx 580 in the 600 series is about a 660, and you can probably even go lower to a gtx 650 ti boost, if you can find one. The new gtx 750 ti (150) that got released could do your task.

You also mentioned looking at the r9 270x, well that's a good pick too, but there's a r7 265 coming out that will be about 150 msrp. It is comparable to a gtx 660, so you can look into that one too.

Good luck, sorry for the lengthy response XD.

He said he wanted sometihng that would get him to around 100 something fps thats why I said the 770. You are fine with a 760 but if you really want those high fps, then you get the 770. BTW this thread is like a 2 months old now.
