I have a different Qnap nas, If you connect to the web interface, pop all the disks in and initialize them (this will erase the disks).
its pretty simple from there. I cant remember the exact steps, but it will be really easy, you just set the rai up how you want it. Then create shared folders. You can specify which volume the shared folders get created on when you make them.
