My Toshiba Qosmio laptop runs on XP...( I know I should upgrade but I can't stand Windows 8 )
I upgraded the RAM to the maximum 4GB
I play Betfair Poker
Whilst I'm playing the cooling fan will suddenly get louder and the game will freeze for up to 30 seconds...
.(usually when I have a good hand !)
Now here is the odd thing.
Occasionally during play a Script Error warning will appear "Do You Want To Continue Running Scripts On This Page"
If I leave the warning on the screen then the fans NEVER go into overdrive and the game never freezes.
The details of the Script Error warning are never the same....a load of gobbledygook to my eye.
I've asked few people but no one can diagnose the reason for this.
Any ideas ?
