My monitor turns itself off

Hello ive just rebuilt my pc after it dieing on me ive put new parts in
Gigabyte 78lmt-s2p
AMD FX 4130 FX 4-core 3.8gnbz 8.0mb
8GB ram 1333mhz 2x
2TB HDD
250GB HDD
my question is when i plug my LG monitor in,it says going into saving power mode and it turns it self off and i cant do anythink. So what could the problem be?

I have monitors in my workplace that randomly flash their system menu and turn on and off. After I researched a bit, I found out that it was the actual main board that controls all the buttons on the monitor (power, options, etc). If this is the case with your monitor, I would advise talking to the manufacturer to see if they can cover it with their standard warranty.

The computer is not sending a signal to the monitor. You rebuilt it, check how it's put together and make sure everything is connected properly.
You can also try another monitor with it, but based on what you said happened, it's probably the computer not booting up.
