Hello,

I have 2 identical external samsung usb 3.0 hard drives (Seagate inside). One is completely new and is working, other old and doesn't work. I have replaced controller board from working disk to other one.

After that, I can see disk in device manager but no in disk management. I also tried with mac and linux + 2 other win 7 computers.

I want to recover data from it. Any suggestions? I don't think there is problem with disk heads or maybe I am wrong? Disk is spinning quietly and with no excess vibrations.

Here are the screen shots:

Nop no success with seagate tools does not let me install it because I don't have seagate disk connected via SATA. Yes but usb controller works because I have replaced it with another one. There must be something with driver or format something software like

Thanks I hope I could avoid that (sending to data recovery place). So any suggestions are welcome...

I have now 10x reconnected disk and 10x delete/install drivers. This is what I got last time
