Bought a 2nd TITAN today and sometimes it's detected when I boot up the PC and sometimes it isn't? What could be causing this problem? I enable SLI when it's detected and it's shown in device manager. Then it disappears when I reboot.

Thanks guys I forgot to mention one of the Titan is the normal Zotac and the other is the AMP edition and when they're detected they run at different clock speeds. Is that normal or maybe that's the problem?

it shoudlnt be cutting out because of that, they will work fine at different speeds but it is best to run them at the same speed, download msi afterburner, the new beta is good and im not sure if nvidia cards have this but go to msi settings and disable ulps

I render a lot of 1080p videos and also game in 1440p. Might be looking into gaming in 4k in future but not with 30hz screens lol. Maybe once they release some good 4k monitors in a year or 2

The 3970 must be good for rendering video's - I have a single 780 ti and game at 1440, Do you think it's worth it to get another card for sli?

What games are you playing?

The Asus PQ321Q is apparently 60hz however I agree with you the technology needs a couple years to mature.

Which Monitor are you using?

VP2770 Viewsonic. It handles it but I want to be ready with new games coming out this winter and I want to add 4k monitors in future. I play Black Flag recently and there was frame drops on a single Titan. Also you should try out Far Cry 3 in 1440p looks amazing

I've never tried wicther 2 should i give it a try? I'm also waiting for watch dogs however I think that will come in the spring.

I heard about Titan Fall it looks good, I hope it's not as buggy as COD Ghosts.

I have far cry 3 it does look really nice on a 1440p on ultra with 4x msaa, I also have blood dragon.

What do you think about AC black flag? I can't max that out on a single 780 ti, The psyX in the game & god rays are not optimized - have you tried the game?

Metro Last light is a great game that looks really good! I think with Titan or 780 ti SLI 2x ssaa can might be able to be enabled and be comparable to 4k quality.

Crysis 3 doesn't have the greatest story however I find with powerful hardware at 1440p the game is stunning.

Metro is not optimised good enough with sli as I have get 50fps and it stutters on max. Black Flag is good :D but also not optimised as frame rate drops in towns and sometimes for no reason at all. Crysis 3 I got bored playing it because it's bland but the graphics are awesome but that's all lol.
