I am building a gaming pc in the near future and want to be on a budget of 3K. And I am curious to find out if this will be a good build for ultimate gaming and video editing etc. I wanna do it all! also i rather not have anything to do with AMD cpus and Radeon gpus, thanks!

Monitor: LG 23EN43V-B 23in LED Widescreen Monitor for $175
Mobo: Gigabyte Z87X-UD3H ATX for $254
PSU: Seasonic XP-1000 Platinum 1000W for $309
CPU: Intel Core i7 4770K for $400
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX780 Ti Superclocked, 3GB for $889.00
RAM: G.Skill Trident X F3-2400C10Q-16GTX 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3 for $255
OS: A copy of win7 ultimate i already own
SSD: Corsair Force Series GS 240GB SSD for windows installation for $269
HDD: Western Digital WD Black 3TB for games/storage/programs for $249
Case: Aerocool Strike-X Advance Devil Red for $89
ODD: Lite-On IHAS324 24x DVDRW for $25

Comes to a total of $2913.
I understand that the Titan Black and 790 are coming out very soon but the price of one of them will send my price over 3000..
I am to spend a little bit more on peripherals but their not important atm i might just use the ones i have atm since their good.
so how good is this build? will it do what i need for ultimate gaming at 1080p (single monitor) and best video/photo editing?
Cheers

Change that mobo, too simple. You don't want that on a high end gaming machine. Get Asrock extreme 6 or better. I'd change the ssd for Samsung 256gb 840 pro, I have it and it's fast as hell. If you want to sky rocket the cpu clock, get a corsair H100i or H110i watercooler.

I'd say so. Just check if the case of your choice has great air flow inside. Can't say much about the monitor, I'm not really into it. Mine is a 23" IPS panel from LG and I love it. Taking that aside, and considering all I've said, you're good to go.
