Yeah future proof is nonsense. If you have definite plans to add a second GTX770 (and if you actually need two GTX770s, that's a lot of graphics power if you just have say a single 1080P display) then the PSU makes sense.
If you don't, then a 2Gb GTX770 and a 550W PSU is plenty.

Any particular reason for the Constellation HDD? For most people a Barracuda or WD Caviar Blue will suffice for half the price.
 
Please choose a better PSU than the Corsair "CX" line. Those were made using some inferior Samxon capacitors that do not like heat and fail early. I'd choose Seasonic or one built by them like XFX, some Antec, or a Superflower-built Rosewill Capstone. For a single GTX770, 550W is enough.

Thank you for this insight! I hadn't read anything about the Corsairs failing. I've switched to a SeaSonic X Series.
