I have been searching for a new computer to support very casual gaming and other miscellaneous things. I have been wondering if a 1GB Nvidia GeForce GT625 or a 1GB AMD Radeon R5 235 with 8GB DDR3-1600MHz memory and a 4th Generation Intel® Core™ i5-4570 processor quad-core can support Dayz Standalone at MEDIUM graphics, 30 FPS, and 1080p. Thanks

At 1080 you're asking too much of the gpus you mentioned. Just grab a GTX560 and you'd probably be fine at medium/low graphics. Dayz runs on such an unoptimized engine.. My build can run it at 1080 on high with the resource hogging ambient occlusion and post processing/clouds disabled.

Just drop the res a bit and it still is perfectly clear and you'd get a nice fps boost.

Thanks. I think I can sacrifice the graphics settings (at least it's easier to see people :p) and run it with Game Booster to get a good FPS. The game will be better optimized in the future correct?

No probs,

Yeah, don't even bother with any anti-aliasing/cloud/postprocess/ambient occlusion. Even on high end systems it causes stupid slowdowns in cities.

You WILL be getting about 15-30fps in cities however unless you drop your res a bit (trust me even 75% is still alright).

I've read through dev logs and interviews and it should be a lot better optimized in future however that may be a year or so wait! :(

Some exciting updates on their way soon though!
