Unable to find a working driver for a Renesas USB 3.0 Host Controller on a GA-EX58-UD4P Gygabyte mobo...
I applied last updates from Gygabyte, and tried many usb3 drivers, but none are recognised...

Anybody can help ?
Thanks

Considering that motherboard doesn't have USB 3.0, I'm guessing that you are using an expansion card for USB 3.0? If you can get a magnifying glass and a flashlight and get the model number from the chip on the board, that would help a lot.

Can you please provide me with the HardwareID of the device from the device manager ?

Here is from Properties Details from the USB bus controler :

PCI\VEN_1B6F&DEV_7023&SUBSYS_1B6F7023&REV_01
PCI\VEN_1B6F&DEV_7023&SUBSYS_1B6F7023
PCI\VEN_1B6F&DEV_7023&CC_0C0330
PCI\VEN_1B6F&DEV_7023&CC_0C03

And for the model number from the chip on the board, I think it is LGA1366.

Thanks a lot ! I don't know why I believed it was a Renesas... Maybe driver's cd which was provided with the card ?
Checking...
Yes, it is !

Release Note May 31.2012

Renesas Electronics uPD720201 & uPD720202
USB 3.0 Host Controller Driver Kit (x86 and x64)
for Windows XP, VISTA, 7 and Server 2008 Release 2

And I used this Renesas driver when the card was on another 32 bits computer running XP... It was working.
So, I couldn't imagine to try another trade driver ! But, now it's working ! Without any reboot ! Wonderful !
So, thanks one more time.

I have three USB 3 cards of 3 different chip makers (one Fresno Logic, one ETron, and one VIA) plus my three motherboards have their own USB 3 controllers. Six different chips from 5 manufacturers. Sometimes I get them mixed up when rebuilding machines, so I put the drivers for all of them on my storage server. When I rebuild machines now, I just run all the drivers from the server until the ports work.
