I want to upgrade my power supply (sort of low budget and 4PIN PCI-E 2.0), help!

I got a new graphics card but I can't run it without upgrading my PSU (Specifically an ASUS AMD HD7770 Graphics card) but my entire computer runs on 4-pin PCI-E cables, and now I'm used to it I'm scared to change the cables.. I have a PCI-E adapter 4-8pin so conversion is not a problem but I was told my PSU is old and is unable to play games... I haven't got so much money either but I can stretch up to about £40 (about $65). What can I do? I need a good PSU to run this card but not sure about all the cables etc.

My motherboard is a GIGABYTE 78LMT-S2P.

Thanks for your time.

This is 4-Pin etc? And also the box for my graphics card says Reccomended 450W power supply... Does that matter so much?

Manufacturer recommendations exceeds a lot the real power requirements for their products, they do this to cover themselves in assuring their product will work. The HD 7770 doesn't consume a whole lot and will run fine under a 450W power supply.
