Current rig:
i5 2320 @3 GHz
8GB
Gigabyte Windforce Nvidia GTX 780 Ti
2 TB HDD
Thermaltake 850W Bronze PSU *Mobo: Asus P8B75-V *Other stuff: A+ Case Twin Engine / XCLIO A380, Acer G246HYL monitor

So I uninstalled the AMD drivers with a Display Driver Uninstaller utility while the AMD card was still in.
I shut down the system and put in my 780 Ti, installed the newest Nvidia drivers (332.21).
Windows detects the card, the drivers detect the card but then I loaded up Planetside 2, Battlefield 4 and FC3: Blood Dragon and the performance is worse then my 6970. 20 fps or worse on ultra.
Feels like it's not even using the card. I have it seated correctly, the card is running and everything, fans spinning etc. I have my 2 monitors plugged in the 2 dvi ports and they function correctly.
I have tried removing and reinstalling the drivers multiple times, tried using the driver that came with the card, updated my bios, used driver booster from iobit to check that all my drivers are up to date. Now I'm on the edge of either sending the new card back or reinstalling Windows.
A little help? :S

You may need to go into the nvidia control panel and make sure that everything is being used correctly, otherwise get some programs like gpu-z and coretemp. These will allow you to see gpu usage, cpu usage and some other things
now, that cpu may cause a bottleneck for the 780ti, but it should not be performing worse than your old card. Make sure to update even the indegrated intel graphics drivers, as well as maybe try nvidia geforce experience (don't use it for game settings, as you can often tweak it a little bit)
