I want to totally move away from mechanical hardrives and just have a super cool system. What I'm thinking about is getting a 120GB OCZ Revodrive 3 and putting windows and all that jazz on it and then getting a 500 GB SSD and just have that. Then later on if I need more storage (which this is enough at the moment) add another 500 GB SSD. However my delema is , since the Revo drive is over a year old is something new coming out real soon? I know that there is the x2 version but the cheapest one of those is like 800 USD so no way Jose I'm not a millionaire just an enthusiast who wants to get the best stuff without spending an insane amount of money. Thanks!

I would likely just get a 500GB SSD (Samsung PRO series is one of the fastest and amongst the most reliable at the moment). OCZ has actually went bankrupt recently as well, but I believe their SSD business was taken over by Toshiba? So I'd likely stick to a better brand for now.

Yes...OCZ's SSD line is being subsumed into Toshiba.
