Both of these are on sale today, one at Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00D2OYUDE) and one at Newegg (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814133495)
(Yes, Newegg is cheaper, but that involves a rebate and Amazon lets me use Prime 2-day shipping and my Citi Thank You points, so financially they are about the same)

Is there any reason for one over the other?

I would say either would work, however I don't have any personal experience with either brand, so I can't make a definite recommendation. The one on Newegg is clocked a little higher, however I overclocked mine up to 1300 MHz and still saw no real performance increase, so I would say you should go with Amazon, just because of your personal benefits, but I can't say for certain.

PNY is a ok brand watch the warranty for how long they use to sale at best buy and other major brick and mortor stores now they are online I haven't had any bad experiances with them so as for the card you should be ok now if you prefer amazon then I would purchase it there other then newegg.
