I have this problem which I don't think anyone can fix (regarding load and noise) related to GPU and display apparently

So as of a few days ago I noticed when I played games like WoW and planetside 2 on ultra or high settings - My fan area would make a weird buzzing noise.

However this was only on high+ settings. On medium or low it was pretty much normal and not really noticeable. But if I crank up to max, it sure is.

I have an i4 4770 clocked at 3.4 ghz and a gtx 770. (gigabyte mobo), my system does easily handle these games on ultra however the sound of buzzing

But HERE'S the catch. If I turn vsync on in WoW (this syncing my GPU with monitor refresh rate which is 60 hz) The noise is normal again. Wierd huh?...I just dunno why I can't play with VSYNC off, and thus get these very high framerates yet louder buzzing from my fan area.

So to conclude The loud noise in my desktop is only apparently if playing at high or ULTRA on WoW- it is fine on normal/low. But, I can do high/ultra with vsync on. When playing another game like league of legends - I can have 200+ FPS, vsync OFF, without this noise. Its very confusing. If no one is sure of whats going on here I'll have to go to a nearly PC specialist and he might charge me a bit...thanks for reading.
