monitor wont connect sometimes

Do you have the cable plugged into the graphics card and not the motherboard? Does it work with any other connection other than HDMI? (HDMI has been fiddly at times for me)

Does it work 100% on a different monitor/tv? Does restarting the pc with the cable plugged in fix it?

ya it works... im using my tv via hdmi right now and the monitor has a digital connection.... but not without having to rest my computer a few times.... sometimes I works every time other times it doesn't nothing moves and or changes...:) im not completely computer illiterate so if there are any suggestions you have further then turning it off and on ill be able to work out.
