I have bought an ASUS DirectCUII OC GTX770, i got the package today, i tried some benchmarks and it didnt give me good results, then it gave me some artifacts etc. i formatted my pc, clean installed everything, when i play bf4 test range everything is ok, but when i play it multiplayer i got black screen.

AMD FX-8350
Asus DirectCUII OC GTX770 4GB
Gigabyte 990XA-UD3 mobo
Corsair VS650 (650 watt) PSU
4hhds, 1ssd

i checked everything and i really think that the issue is my gpu's vram getting too hot up to 94 C while gpu temperature is 75 C degrees.

what can i do about it? here is my log file also(check the colums DM, DN,EE)

You can try to buy some thermal pads to put over your VRAM to try to pull heat off. I've never heard of a 770 having VRAM heat issues, especially an asus which is one of the best coolers out there. Might consider a RMA for the card. BTW, how did you find your VRAM temps?

Ouch, are you serious !

94 c for the Vram.

Something is not right there my friend.
Im not surprised it you were met with a black screen.
Memory can get hot. But at 94c thats a sign something is wrong with the cooler fitting.
Or missing thermal pads between the vram chips to the main cooling block.

The card will freeze and lock up if the memory gets too hot.
Return the card under RMA.

Or it may be a case of you need more airflow inside the case.

I am not on pc atm, so not sure but i think it was hwinfo64 which recorded the log and i could also see vram temperature on gpu-z

I have sent a mail to seller for a replacement. I havent seen 70-80 c degrees on my old gtx560, so i think air flow is good enough (case is a zalman z11 plus)
