Hello All, I am having a hard time installing a OS on my new build. I got to the BIOS and changed the boot order to pull the disc drive first which is where the ISO file is, and when I go to reset it comes up with, "Reboot and Select proper Boot Device or insert Boot Media in selescted Boot device and press a key." How can I install it on this? The motherboard is Asus M5A99X EVO R2.0

Any help would be great.

Is this a disk you created with the installer files from Microsoft or an OEM/Retail disk you bought? If the disk is genuine and the iso is intact, you shouldn't need to adjust the boot priority. I would just figure out which function key pulls up your list of bootable devices and manually select your DVD drive. If that doesn't work, I would test by making a bootable USB image

Its a disk I created from DreamSpark. It is saved as a ISo and it has a real key, I am just not sure why it wont load or even read it. When i try with 7 Pro it loads it and reads it no problem.

I have heard that a lot, I use surface for school and it don't seem to bad, but then again that is touchscreen. I figured I'll try it and get used to it because unfortunately that is what the future is going to be like.
