Hey guys, recently got my new setup all put together but when I try to power it up nothing happens.
CPU: Intel i5 4670
MoBo: Gigabyte GA-H87-D3H
GPU: sapphire amd radeon hd 6870
PSU: dx-ps500w
The PSU is fairly old, has to be a good 4 or 5 years, I moved it over from my previous system hoping it would hold up but I'm thinking it's probably the issue. Also it only has a 4 pin connector for the CPU power where as the MoBo has an 8 pin. I've read that the 4 pin can still work in the 8 pin slot as long as the CPU is getting sufficient power.
I was just wondering if anyone here had any thoughts, suggestions, or knew of anything I could do to test what the problem is before I just go pick up a new PSU.
