How should I go about upgrading my zt affinity 7607 computer?

I would like to use this computer to game but unfortunately the power supply is too small and the graphics card sucks. I'm worried about compatibility issues if I upgrade so I would like to know what kind of cards and power supplies I could use. I've heard good things about the GTX 770's but since money really isn't the biggest issue here I wouldn't mind hearing other suggestions. Thanks!

Agree the GTX 770 would make a great card. I would get a good 750w PSU from Corsair Seasonic Antec XFX or such. While you may not need 750w it would give you room to grow with if for example you want to SLI at a later date. It is better in my opinion to have a PSU that is alittle over powered than under powered.

As for GPU's go I have heard great things about the AMD/ATI R9 280x also and think either one of them would make a great gaming card.

Okay so it sounds like the consensus is that a 770 is a good graphics card! My only worry now is how i can check for compatibility with the other parts of my computer. Is there anyway to check before I buy? I'm worried that I will buy a PSU that is too big for the case I have or that the Graphics card will require more wattage than I thought. Sorry if that is a little jumbled as this is my first foray into the PC gaming world.

Model: Affinity 7607Mi (ZT desktop)
Processor: 3.4GHz Intel core i7-2600 processor
RAM: 16GB DDR3 memory
Hard drive: 2TB SATA II hard drive
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 5450 graphics with 1GB VRAM
PSU: 350 W

Intel H67 Express chipset

I was given this as a gift and I just really hope it is capable of being upgraded to play games with.

Should be good to go with a gtx 770 and a new 600w and up PSU from Corsair, seasonic, xfx, antec, or ocz ( there are other good ones two but just posted common ones)

Yea, just make sure the PSU fits in the case before you buy. Same goes for graphics card.

Take down dimensions of the slot in your case that would fit your psu as well as the length of your case then compare it to the psu and gpu size.
