Right now I've just bought a gtx 770, and I'm thinking about upgrading and the future of the next Gen. I want to be solid for the next 1-2 years for high performance.

System specs:
I7 2600k 3.4ghz
8gb of ddr3 ram
Gtx 770
Gigabyte h77-ds3h mobo

My current motherboard doesn't support sli, but I'm also planning on upgrading that.. Any suggestions on a new mobo that would support my stuffs?

Solution
I'd return the GTX 770 and get a GTX 780 or 780 Ti. Buying a new MB (and maybe a new CPU) makes the SLI option too much trouble IMO.

You also need to think about the PSU requirements (620W for a single GTX 780 Ti, 575W for a single GTX 780, 850W for GTX 770 SLI). Will the SLI option require buying a new PSU too?

Edit: and yeah, overclocking that 2600k would help.

If you go to the trouble of getting a new motherboard, maybe you should consider a new cpu as well? The gtx 770 will hold you @ 1080p for a while, though when you get a chance, 770 sli will get you better performance(though I would recommend that upgrade after a new mobo and cpu).

Unless you are gaming at greater than 1080p the GTX 770 will do you just fine. At a later date you could SLI them but for now the GTX 770 will work just fine I would not worry about it. And as said the 2600K is not a bad CPU overclock it and you should be fine. When you make your motherboard upgrade you can then decide how you want to procide from there.
