I just put together a new computer, and the speed of any time is 5x faster than normal time. I look at the windows clock and the second hand is flying around. I play a video in VLC and the video runs at 5x at the start of load up. I even started a game of league of legends and the timers IN THE GAME were going fast, and then would reset to normal after 10 real seconds. So the game time would display 2 minutes, and then jump back to the real time of 1:20, and then speed off again. Even the loading wheel in Chrome and Twitch spin SUPER fast.
EXCEPT the BIOS time is normal.... so that's weird.
I haven't tried to overclock anything, I just put it together a day ago. I also have tried that w32time thing listed online in cmd, and it didn't work.
I looked around and it looks to be some kind of CMOS problem but I'm not really sure. Anyone heard of this and how do I fix it?
