Liquid cooling fittings and tubing Questions?

Bolded words are the start of each question (3)

Firstly, I was wondering how much the flow is restricted on the 90 angle fittings as opposed to the rotary fittings. I know obviously it is going to be more restricted, but how much? Is there some sort of data for this? Would you recommend going with the rotary fittings, or is the change insignificant?

As seen in this picture:

The tube is straight, and not curved or going around everywhere like most builds. I want to attempt to do the same with my future build, but was wondering about the tubing. Is that just regular plastic tubing? Or is that some sort of special, really stiff tubing?

Back to fittings, I obviously want the colors to match, and according to bitspower's website, the color im looking for is called "Silver Shining"
So i hop over to FrozenCPU, look at the compression fittings, but keep finding two different colors for the bitspower.

They have the silver shining, what i want:

But they also have Silver:

But the Silver isnt actuall silver, because there is a seperate fittings for true .999 silver, So that means it must be a color difference right? Even thought Bitspowers website doesnt have 2 seperate silver colors..

Anyway, this would be a problem, if either the silver or silver shining had all the fittings i needed. For example, certain fittings are only with the title silver, and others with the title Silver shining. So if i wanted to run the set up normally, i would have to mix these two.

And you cant say that They mean the same thing with silver and silver shining because going back to the compression fittings, the silver shining is $5 less than silver. Seems alot for a color.

This got too complicated, so i went over to Performance PCs thinking they wouldnt have this problem. I was sort of right

They didnt have silver and silver shining, but silver shiny and silver shining. hmmm...

Well a silver shining fitting here is really glossy:

while a silver shiny looked sort of glazed and rough:

Maybe its the lighting that caused this? If so, shouldn't these companies be more professional and get the names right? This shouldnt be this confusing.

Are they different? Where can i buy Silver shining Bitspower fttings then?

Thanks in advance.

1. 90° fittings reduce flow by a miniscule amount. Its only a factor if you absolutely care about every degree.

Rotary fittings just mean that you can rotate them while their mounted, it wouldnt affect the flow restriction. Maybe your thinking of the "snake" fittings that are made of multiple rotary pieces?

2. Thats acrylic tubing, very much a different process of putting things together than normal tubing.

3. Those are two different fittings, ones rotary while the other isnt. Neither of them are made of silver, just have a silver colour.
The Performance PC set, again their different fittings. One has a male end while the other is both female.
Its probably just the...

Picture: I can't see the picture. Any tubing can be straight but if it is perfectly straight except for the turns, then it is possibly rigid acrylic. Completely different animal.
Fittings: They are referring to the color. Both of those fittings are made of brass (with maybe nickel plating) than colored; NOT made out of silver. The true silver ones are brass plated with silver. Color costs money in this game just so you know....

Generally, the companies will categorize the fittings and then do the color. For example, frozencpu will list the fitting by type, example, compression, and then list everything they sell and all the colors. Performance PCs breaks it down by company as well.
I'm not sure where the confusion comes from? Not every store is going to sell every single fitting ever made by a company. As well, some companies may have a variety of colors, but not make every fitting in every color, especially if the color isn't that popular. As an example, bitspower has a color called deep blood red. Only a few things are made in this color though.

If you haven't ever actually seen these fittings, I would go with frozencpu as they take actual pictures of the product. Performancepcs usually just puts up whatever stock photo came with the product and it may or may not be acurate.

Its probably just the lighting on each and their the same colour.

So the Silver shiny and silver shining fittings in performance PCs are the same color? I dont have to worry about different colors there?
And is it possible to use regular tubing to make the loop straight like in the picture? Or do i have to use acrylic tubing?
