My new build fails to wake up from sleep... sometimes

God, I hate intermittent errors! Please some clues, this is driving me mad:

Gigabyte H87M-HD3
Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600 Mhz CL9 XMP
CIT 450w Gold 12CM Silent Atx Power Supply
Sandisk SDD 120Gb

Seems like 1 in 5 times, it fails to wake up from sleep mode and I hear the Mobo beep beep beep loop for a while followed by a hard reset with 3 beeps to bios and another hard reset! Memory failure (?)

Error decreases with only one memory stick
Error decreases with memory at 1333, instead of 1600 Mhz
Error decreases on Win7 (1 error on 20 sleeps) -> Win 8.1 (1 on 8) -> OSX Mavericks (1 on 2)

Mobo, memory or is this a power issue? Not enough boost power? BTW, I only used 4 pins on the ATX 12v 2x4 pins connector, as the power source has only a 4 pin and 6 pin cable. But the Gigabyte manual says it's to use only a 4 pin connector.(?!)

THANKS! I bought this on Amazon and don't know what to return back!

Thanks barto!

I have disabled the processor state C6/C7 to avoid this incompatibility and still got the failures then..... I disabled the C3 state and still got the failures and then I disabled the C1E state and so far so good!

Will do more testing!

Np. Honestly I'd say just forget about sleep mode. Turn it off. You have an SSD which will only take a mere 20-30 seconds to boot up. And when your PC is idle, it will only pull 60w which is nothing.
