I think too much on the CPU cooler, the motherboard, the RAM and the PSU.

CPU is good.
CPU Cooler, go with the Hyper 212 Evo
See if there is a cheaper mobo that is still Z87
Go with 2 x 8GB sticks instead of 4 x 4GB.
SSD is good.
HDD... Think about how you are going to back up important data. Drives die, plan for the worst
PSU... Do you need platnium? Seems to be costing more than you need. Have a look, if electricity is expensive and you will be running this rig 24/7 then it might be worth it.

The others seem fine. This is based purely on specs vs cost. Do not edit videos or photos, hopefully someone else can chime in on this. Can you use GPU acceleration to help with rendering?

The thing with the ram is i will be doing super huge file transfer as I will be doing some graphic designing PSU is exactly what u said I do need the platinum and I will run it a lot. Motherboard keeping for future upgrades thinking of doing dual sli among other things and water cooler is needed because I have heard it is the only way you will keep it going as fast as possible and not letting ot over heat ever

Saves you $150, gives you the option for 32GB of RAM in the future if you wish to upgrade, and gets you better performance with the 780 backing you up, the more CUDA the better lol You don't need a Z87 board if your CPU is locked, all it really adds is overclocking.

Let me know what you think :)

I will overclock in a year or two and I am sticking with corsair h100i because I trust in the corsair but I will give the motherboard a second thought
