I have a MSI Z87-GD65 motherboard with windows 7. I got a bad virus so i completely wiped my computer and just downloaded windows 7 again. When i put in the driver cd that came with my motherboard, only the chipset and audio drivers are displayed. The VGA, Lan, and Storage drivers are greyed out and i cannot click on them to download. If you need anymore information i will answer as quickly as possible.

Are you by any chance plugging it into a USB 3.0 port? Those won't be active until you install the driver for USB 3.0. Try one of the USB 2.0 ports on the back of the MB.

I like to install the chipset, audio, USB3.0, and LAN driver more or less in that order. That's all you really need.
its better to download drivers off the web as they are more up to date. assuming you have no internet access on that build, i reccomend downloading the drivers on a different computer and transferring the files over with a flash drive
