well today I finished building my very first computer (yay) and as soon as I try to connect to internet so Windows can do its thing.. cit came to me that my asrock z77 extreme4 didn't have a lan card. so I'm kinda on a tight budget right now. so anything less than 50 would be great.

Any decent wireless card should work. I am using a TP-Link TL-WDN4800 PCI Express wireless card in my desktop. It's just a basic 3-antenna 802.11n dual-band wireless card that can connect to a network at a speed of up to 450 Mbps.

The newer wireless standard you can get, the better in my opinion. 802.11n would be great, but if there is an 802.11ac in your price range, that would leave you room to upgrade.
